CEO/President of Board
Ayesha Williams
Ayesha Williams, MSW, is a nonprofit leader and survivor advocate with over 15 years of experience in social services. She has held key roles at organizations including H.A.N.D.Y., KIDS in Distress, and the FLITE Center, where she built trauma-informed wellness and anti-human trafficking programs. In 2016, inspired by both her expertise and lived experience, she founded Legacy of Change, Inc. to empower youth and women impacted by trauma. Today, she leads the organization with passion and vision, creating safe spaces for survivors to heal and thrive.

Co-Chair
Richard Charlemon
Richard Charlemon, MSW, is a Miami native with 17 years of experience in human services. He began his career at ChildNet supporting vulnerable youth and later advanced to Director of Education at HANDY, where he placed over 150 young people in higher education. His leadership has been recognized by the Urban League of Broward County and Legacy magazine. Today, he serves as CEO of Reyna Group Home, overseeing five homes for autistic boys, while also mentoring LGBTQ youth and those with special needs.

Secretary
Shari Robinson
Shari L. Robinson, BS, is a Florida-based professional with a background in family and community sciences from the University of Florida. She spent seven years in Florida’s Child Welfare Department, supporting families facing challenges such as domestic violence, neglect, and housing instability. In 2016, Shari founded Shayelle Beautiq, an inclusive natural hair care spa where she blends her expertise as a licensed cosmetologist with her passion for empowerment. As a survivor of sexual assault, she continues to provide support and resources to others with similar experiences.

Treasurer
Olphie Bernard
Ophie Bernard is the Regional Director of Central Orlando for a nonprofit, where she has spent over four years overseeing HR, fundraising, compliance, and a $2.5 million budget. She previously served as Director of Logistics at a Fortune 500 seafood company, where she achieved 60% growth through international trade. Originally from Puerto Rico, Ophie enjoys exploring new cultures, food, and history, and spending time with her husband and their dog, Lily.
